Lido Choir
The Lido’s very own choir, Fifty Shades of Blue, meets on Monday evenings from 7.00 to 8.30pm at St Leonard’s Church Hall, five minutes’ walk from the Lido. Our musical director is Sally Duncan, and all SLSC members are invited to join us.
We would love you to join us, experienced or not, for a fun evening. We usually sing in four part harmony unaccompanied. Rehearsal tracks and sheet music to download are provided, but you don’t have to be able to read music as it’s taught in a “I sing it, you sing it back” way.
Singing is nearly as good as swimming as a boost to mental heath!
Autumn term dates 2026:
21 September – 19 October (five weeks
2 November -7 December (six weeks)
There is a termly subscription to cover running expenses. Currently this is the equivalent of £8 per session if paid in advance, with a reduced rate of £4 for people on a limited budget – or £8.50 /£4.25 pay as you go.
