SLSC Summer Aquathlon Series 2026 | Race 3 | Wednesday 01 July

Online entry will close at 7:00pm on Monday 29 June. You will be able to enter on the day subject to capacity – do check first as we are not permitted to have more than 100 participants.
IMPORTANT RACE INFORMATION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Age categories are based on age on 31 December 2026.
Registration will open at ~7.15pm and close promptly at 7.50pm when there will be a race briefing.
· You will be divided into 2 waves of 50 depending on the total number of participants. Your race number is pre-allocated. Changing waves will result in confusion for our volunteer timekeepers and your time being inaccurate.
· We aim to start Wave 1 at 20:00 and wave 2 at 20:25 or thereabouts.
· Please pay attention to your race number – we do not want you to miss your swim.
Mobile phones/earphones are not permitted in transition or on the run section
Race numbers must be clearly displayed (we have safety pins if you do not possess a race belt). Please make sure we can see your number displayed on the FRONT, at the finish.
The race is a 1km swim (11 lengths of the pool, mass start) followed by a ~7.5km run around Tooting Bec Common (3 laps of a sign-posted circuit). A map of the run route can be seen on the event webpage.
In the unlikely event the pool needs to be cleared, such as a thunderstorm, you must follow lifeguard instructions. Your safety comes first.
**IMPORTANT ** Wetsuits will not be permitted if the water temp is above 22oC. (This has only happened once)
Please bring your own water/refreshments. Drinking water is available on site.
Changing rooms and showers will also be available for you to use.
The lido will be closed to the public from 8pm.

All participants, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, culture and religious belief systems have equal rights to safety and protection. All suspicions, concerns and allegations of harm will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
